Kevin StaceyGeneral Manager. South Island
After 20 years service in the Canadian Navy, Kevin joined the Robbins team and is currently the General Manager (South Island).
With his keen insight into operational logistics, Kevin is an invaluable resource in the effective management of all our client’s properties. His foresight in environmental initiatives has further elevated Robbins’ “green” status by implementing energy reducing strategies, limiting carbon emissions and gas consumption of all fleet vehicles, and being conscientious of sound environmental practices.
Working with the City of Victoria and BC Hazmat, he implemented a Storm Drain Management and Hazmat Response Plan for every Robbins-managed location thus providing a rapid response to any environmental issue. Growing a maintenance division at Robbins since 2008, Kevin has harnessed ingenuity and focused skills to keep Robbins a leader in the business community. During the current global pandemic, Kevin has used “out of the box” ideas to create working Covid Testing Sites in parking lots providing structure set up, traffic control, signage, fencing, and parking ambassadors to assist our partners in health. By harnessing his East Coast heritage and West Coast “know-how”, Kevin has turned Robbins’ snow removal and salting services into a force that is second to none, keeping our South Island customers informed, ready and safe.
Whether digging into the inner functioning of new meter technologies, or strategizing and implementing PCI compliance protocols, Kevin’s attention to detail and strong work ethic, ensure no detail is ever overlooked. Formally trained as an electronics technician, having a personal interest in construction, general carpentry, and being a handyman at heart, Kevin’s skills and experience make him a rare asset and resource in the parking industry.
